babymoon

I haven't been posting for a bit recently because I've been sleeping. Laugh if you must, but all you mommies out there know how precious sleep is when you have little ones. I have been lucky enough to be blessed with a munchkin who seems to love sleep. For the last week or so, she's been sleeping through the night...and by sleeping through, I mean anywhere between 8-14 hours STRAIGHT!!!! When she wakes up she is full of smiles and coos, playfully kicking her legs and trying to eat her sleeper. But I'm not holding my breath that this wonderful 'babymoon' is going to last forever. Sadly I fear that all of this sleep is due in part to a growth spurt. I hope I'm wrong, but you'll notice the time stamp of this post reads 3:44am. Yup, I'm up feeding the mini, not that I mind, but I think I might be saying good bye to my sleep filled nights. I really can't complain, even when she wakes up in the middle of the night to eat she goes right back to sleep when she's done, but it was wonderful to get a full night's rest. It was nice while it lasted :)

Oh, I'm so happy for you and so very jealous! Our youngest monkey (almost 6 months) was sleeping well, but not so much anymore. I'm beyond exhausted, I now just bring him into our room once he wakes up the first time in his crib, otherwise, it's a night full of getting up every other minute!
Fingers crossed that this isn't just a growth spurt!
Cheers!

Well, she slept through last night, so hopefully it was just a little hiccup in our otherwise wonderful sleep schedule :)
